Razer hopes to debut its mobile device by the end of 2017

This seems like a familiar place, doesn’t it? We’ve heard whispers and murmurs from the rumor mill and Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan himself that the company has plans for the mobile gaming market. In a sit-down with CNBC, however, Tan let the cat out of the bag and confirmed that Razer is working on a mobile device and hopes to release the device by year’s end. Are smartphones still getting faster? Does Moore’s law still apply?

Moore’s Law predicts that the number of transistors used on dense integrated circuits will double year on year. The theory belongs to Gordon Moore, who co-founded Intel and who had observed this trend up to that point in 1965.
